Job Description for Hotel Florist

 

The main duty of a Florist Rolestown or floral designer is to design creative floral décor and supervise floral installation for hotel lobbies, guest rooms, restaurants, spas, and other public spaces. To meet their floral needs, you should work well with cleaning and other departments like the front office and food and beverage service.

Also, know a variety of floral arrangements, flowers, and foliage, as well as when each is in season and how long they would stay fresh. All tasks and designs must be carried out by the housekeeping department's standard operating guidelines.

 

Florist Duties and Responsibilities:

Able to design beautiful flower arrangements to meet the daily needs of hotels.

Able to organize, design, and construct floral arrangements for all events held at the hotel, such as weddings, engagement parties, product launches, etc.

Able to create flower arrangements as housekeeping and other departments requested, including centerpieces for the lobby and guest bouquets.

 Flower Delivery Rolestow Assist in loading or unloading flowers and other accessories from cars as needed.

Verify that every design complies with hotel requirements and meets or exceeds client expectations.

 

Ensure that the timeframes for hotel standards and customer orders are met and that all floral arrangements are within the budget.

Ensure guests, bookers, organizers, and other departments are properly informed on the project's status, delivery schedules, and other details.

All floral orders are maintained on the register or sheets, and guests or representatives from other departments must sign off as necessary.

All guest orders, activities, and costs must be billed/vouchered and posted to the relevant guest or banquet folio.
